After we encapsulated the crawl space, the homeowners finally had a reason to use it. They wanted to store some things down there, so they wanted a new access well that would make climbing in and out of the crawl space easier. We installed our Turtl door, which comes with a locking capability, perfect for anyone who wishes to store valuables in their crawl space. The Turtl is also super strong, weather resistant, and looks great.

The floors above this crawl space in Lawrenceburg, KY, were sinking. This issue occurred for two reasons: the floor joists became weak from prolonged moisture exposure, and the framing in this foundation had an inadequate support system. To fix the crawl space, we installed our SmartJack crawl space support system to lift the floors back up. Our SmartJack system is able to support heavy loads by distributing the weight of the home evenly across the floor. Once we finished the installation, the homeowner immediately tested the newly supported floors above the space, and they were very pleased.
