For this wet basement, our crew dug a trench around the interior perimeter of the basement. A bed of small stones is laid down and the drain is laid on top. After a sump pump pit is installed, a discharge line is run from the pump to the outside. That way, any water that may come in will be pumped out and the basement will stay dry.

For best results the sump should always be located in the lowest area of the slab.  A SuperSump was installed on this project and will able to handle unwanted water for years to come.
