  • Project Location Amherst, MA 01002
Comment In winter, water seeps into basement. House is built into slight hill. So it's 3 stories in Front, and two in back. Water seeps in from the front, only in winter.

Comment Hello, I have 3 pipes that penetrate my foundation wall and when they become submerged outside my house water leaks into my house around the pipes. One small pipe is for an exterior water faucet and the other two are for my basement oil tank (air + filler pipes). I can send pictures of the interior and exterior to help. Is this something that you could provide a quote for?

    Comment Need dehumidfier
  • Project Location Amherst, MA 01002
Comment Water seems to enter basement through and under the slab. Amounts of infiltration have increased: soaks an area of carpet, but no ponding. At the moment I have found a spot where if I place the nozzle of the wet vac, it seems to be intercepting the water because now all carpet areas formerly wet are now dry. Foundation drainage recently installed which seems/seemed not to work, leading to suspicion water's coming up through slab. House built in 1966, with block foundation wall--but no sign that water is entering through it. Area of entry is a 17' stretch ending at a corner.

Comment I have water seepage in my basement hatchway. More precisely the bottom stair. It's very rusted (I don't know if there is concrete under the metal). And water is coming out of cracks. I have a perimeter drain and two sump pumps. The house was built in the fifties. For the first time today I found a rather large puddle.

Comment We just bought a 10yo house with a large (2100sqft) poured cement basement. It had a bad mold smell and we had to have some remediation done. There was a big Aprilaire dehumidifier installed but it apparently no longer seemed to be working effectively. We got a stop gap dehumidifier from Home Depot and have the humidity below 55% for 2+ weeks now, but want to get a more heavy-duty, reliable machine. Btw, the basement has no obvious explicit water problems, tho obviously some moisture coming through.

Comment I want to set up a free estimate in mid October
  • Project Location Amherst, MA 01002
Comment Egress window well floods when rain volume exceeds 1" per hour. Water seems to come from the drain itself. We've been using a portable sump pump to move the water away from the well but needs hands on attention. Need a permanent pump installed.
  • Project Location Amherst, MA 01002
Comment Not sure if main pump is working. Backup pump battery getting drained, and only occasionally recharging. Don't have manuals for pump and can't find float on main pump to test.
