Many different parts of our team at Midsouth came together to transform this crawl space! It started with DeRosia in our customer care team, who took this homeowner's call, listened to their struggles, and promptly set them up a date and time for us to come out and take a look. It was one of our knowledgable design specialists, Caleb, who was sent out and did a complete inspection of the underside of the home. After compiling all his findings, he created a detailed proposal on site and answered all the homeowner's questions. They loved his solution, and got back to our office to schedule a date for us to make it happen. When that day came around, our foreman, Ronnie, and his crew made their way out to Independence, LA and completed the installation of our encapsulation system. This included our CleanSpace Liner, TripleSafe Sump Pump System, a crawl space dehumidifier, and more to make sure their home was protected against all forms of moisture. Look at the difference! Here is one extremely impressive example of what one of our crews was able to do with our crawl space support systems. The floor that once had a complete sunken curve and walls pulling apart around it, is now as even as the rest of the home, with walls sitting tightly in place! Great job team!

In these photos from a recent crawl space repair in Lutcher, LA, you can see the transformation from a moisture-covered foundation to a clean and dry space. The homeowner faced issues with falling insulation and excess humidity. We fixed this with our CleanSpace encapsulation system, strategically placed drainage matting, a reliable TripleSafe sump pump, and our efficient SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier. We removed all the insulation in the process, as it would no longer be needed in this now clean, sealed, and conditioned space. This homeowner was experience weak feeling and bouncy floors, and this wasn't the first time either. They already had to get these floors replaced once, and they weren't interested in having to go through that process again. They reached out to us and we sent one of our design specialists out to take a look and find the cause. The issue turned out to be a common one that we come across very often - crawl space moisture. At one point there was an attempt to take care of this with a moisture barrier, but as you can see in the before image, this did not hold up very well. To really tackle the moisture issue and make sure these floors stayed protected, we replaced this old liner with a substantial upgrade, our CleanSpace Liner. This liner is much more durable and covering more space, very obviously seen in the after image. That's not all though, the now sealed underside of this home is also equipped with a crawl space dehumidification system and sump pump system, which completes the ultimate moisture-proofing solution, our encapsulation system!
