This issue would cause his basement to flood because his old sump pump was. We installed a TrenchDrain outside the door with some WaterGuard XL as well as our Z Triplesafe 3. The TripleSafe Sump Pump System is the ultimate in wet basement solutions, with three levels of protection from ground water intrusion. It includes a 1/3 hp cast-iron Zoeller pump, a secondary 1/2 hp pump, and the UltraSump Battery Backup pump. During annual maintenance to ensure the system is working effectively and efficiently to continue pumping up to 2,220 gallons of water per hour with the first pump and an additional 3,900 gallons of water per our with the secondary pump, the pumps are disassembled, components are checked, cleaned, and replaced as needed. Should a power outage occur, the UltraSump Battery Backup kicks in; and therefore that pump is also checked and cleaned to ensure peak performance. The liner is cleaned and sanitized before the pumps are reassembled. All in all, this system in Elkridge, MD was left in tip-top shape by Service Technician Jordan for ultimate protection against a wet basement.
