Years of moisture exposure can leave wood discolored and covered with organic growth. Using our NuWood™ wood restoration process, Healthy Basement Systems cleaned and restored these wood surfaces, revealing the natural wood beneath and helping create a cleaner, healthier environment.

This homeowner was experiencing first floor rooms that had a "musty" smell in them. Upon inspection from our System Design Specialist, we discovered it was coming from the crawl space. We solved the problem by completing encapsulating the crawl space with CleanSpace vapor barrier which prevents humidity and smells from finding their way into the main living space. We also added insulation to help make the rooms above the space more comfortable.

This basement in Syosset, NY had water, moisture, and damaged wall areas before Healthy Basement Systems started the project. Our team installed a full basement waterproofing system to help collect water, move it out of the home, control moisture, and restore the wall areas. The result is a cleaner, drier, and better protected basement.

We installed new ThermalDry Flooring for this Wantagh basement laundry room. It is both functional and cosmetically pleasant for the basement. ThermalDry Flooring will hold back water vapor that usually passes through a cement basement floor and it is visually appealing.
