In this damp basement in Port Deposit, MD the cement walls were leaking with moisture and then over time sitting on the floor of the basement. We dug a trench along the perimeter of the floor where the moisture was coming in, to install our WaterGuard French Drain. This drain system will collect the water from the floor joint, redirect it to the sump chamber, and safely pumps out the water.

Quality 1st Service Technician Cameron visited the Port Deposit homeowner to provide the recommended annual maintenance on the TripleSafe Sump Pump System. As the liner can accumulate dirt and sediment as ground water passes through the system, Cameron cleaned the primary 1/3 hp cast-iron Zoeller pump as well as the secondary 1/2 hp pump and the UltraSump Battery Backup Sump Pump. Cameron cleared the breather holes, changed the check valves, cleaned the pump stands and liner, and checked to ensure there were no blockages in the discharge line. The system was once again in top notch condition to provide a wet basement solution with protection from ground water intrusion!

This customer had a humidity issue in the basement. We installed our BrightWall vapor barrier and our SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier. Now, not only is the humidity under control, but the walls look cleaner and brighter.

This owner called us and was in need of repairing some concrete and a wall system installation to help with wall leakage. We cut the bottom of the walls to be able to install our CleanSpace Vapor barrier, which is placed and sealed flush against the perimeter walls. This vapor barrier prevents the evaporation from ground moisture that would pull up and into the home. The barrier is puncture-resistant, making it effective and durable over time.
