A homeowner in Jersey City, New Jersey was experiencing high humidity and moisture in the crawl space and contacted Quality 1st for a solution.

Our System Design Specialist inspected the crawl space and recommended the crawl space be encapsulated. Drainage matting was installed on the floor of the crawl space to give the water a channel underneath the crawl space liner. The matting has raised dimples to make sure the water does not get trapped and directs the water to the perimeter drain.

SilverGlo was installed on the crawl space walls to serve as a radiant barrier and reflects heat back into the crawl space for ultimate energy savings. CleanSpace was installed on the crawl space walls and floors to seal off the crawl space. This will prevent any water vapor or humidity from passing through keeping the crawl space dry and healthy.
