Our solution included the installation of the patented WaterGuard Drainage System, which efficiently captures and channels water away from the foundation, preventing pooling and damage. To enhance energy efficiency and further combat moisture, we added SilverGlo Insulation Panels, which reflect heat and inhibit mold growth. Finally, we sealed the crawl space with our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier System, creating a durable, moisture-resistant barrier that safeguards the home’s structure while improving air quality. This customer was having issues with water leaking into his basement from the basement window. He opted to replace his old leaky window with a double-pane, insulated EverLast Slider window. We added a WellDuct window well drainage system to transport any incoming water to the interior drainage system and we replaced his old window well with a SunHouse basement window enclosure. This enclosure comes with a clear plastic cover to keep out pests, rain, snow and debris.
At this property, water was running in the home through the window well and would flood the area during heavy rain. We removed the old window well and installed our WellDuct window system with our Egress Rockwell and cover that will protect the inside of the home. On the inside of the home, we connected the well duct into the sub-floor drain that will carry down the captured water into the sump system. Lastly, we placed our CleanSpace Vapor barrier around the foundation that will safely capture moisture and vapor that seeps through the wall and then down to the drain.
