To fix the problem for good, they encapsulated the crawl space with the CleanSpace vapor barrier, creating a durable, airtight seal across the walls and floor. Drainage Matting was installed underneath to help water move freely to the proper drainage points, preventing pooling and soft spots. To further improve energy efficiency, SilverGlo insulation panels were added along the walls, reflecting heat and providing a clean, finished look. Customer called with major flooding issue in basement which caused damage to the finished basement. Quality 1st Basement Systems came in and removed all the finished materials that were damaged. This allowed us to properly install the WaterGuard drainage system at the floor/wall joint. This gave the homeowner a Lifetime Warranty against ground water seepage. We then sistered the studs with medal studs and installed the CleanSpace vapor barrier to protect the finished basement from moisture. Finally we installed our EverLast Wall Panel which is a moisture resistant wall covering and makes the finished basement look great. We totally transformed their basement.
