In Aurora, NY a home owner recently purchased her 1865 home. Upon purchase she knew there were basement issues that would need to be addressed. After seeing Woodford Brothers on Facebook, she decided to book her free estimate. Design Specialist, Nick, asked the home owner a series of questions to determine what her concerns were and what problems she was interested in addressing. Her concerns were related to gaining usable space but more importantly her health and the quality of air in her home. Nick performed an inspection of the basement space and presented all of the options. It was agreed that installing a basement waterproofing system to keep the floors dry and a Sanidry Sedona to maintain a proper humidity and filter the air to protect against mold and particles in the air. Since radon was a concern, an ERV system was also set to be installed. Our installation team, led by James, made quick work of installing the systems all while keeping the space clean and keeping the home owner informed every step of the way. Now this home owner can enjoy her new home with peace of mind that her basement space is dry and air quality is no longer a concern.

Kathryn was looking to waterproof the basement of her Seneca Falls, NY home.  Wanting to ensure that she chose the best possible solution for her home, she decided to contact Woodford Bros. for a free estimate for the necessary repairs.  After an initial inspection, our Design Specialist determined that the BrightWall system would be best suited to fully waterproof Kathryn's basement. 

BrightWall is a 100% waterproof rigid plastic paneling for unfinished basement walls.  It is durable, washable, and does not support the growth of mold or rot.  Additionally, BrightWall keeps humidity, and water vapor from passing through your foundation walls and into your basement, water seepage through the walls is directed into the drainage system.  With the BrightWall system installed Kathryn can rest assured that her basement is permanently waterproofed.

Elise has been living in her Groton, NY home for nearly 10 years. Over the past several years, he has begun to experience issues with dampness in her basement, causing concern over mold growth, and making the space less usable. Wanting to alleviate the issue to better utilize the basement space, she decided to reach out to Woodford Bros. for a free estimate for the necessary repairs. After an initial inspection of the space, our Design Specialist suggested a combination of systems including WaterGuard, the TripleSafe Sump Pump, and the CleanSpace System. 

WaterGuard is a French drain system that is designed to be installed below the floor slab, resting on top of the foundation footing.  The system then collects water that seeps through basement walls and drains it to the sump pump. In turn, the TripleSafe Sump Pump provides the ultimate protection for wet basements, with the ability to pump up to 11,500 gallons or more on a fully charged battery. Finally, the CleanSpace Wall Vapor Barrier is a 100% waterproof plastic vapor barrier that is durable, washable, and even has anti-microbial protection built right in. With this combination of systems installed, Elise will have a permanently dry and usable basement.
