Wet basements are not fun! Flooded basements are a homeowner’s nightmare. If you are suffering from constant worry about the health and safety of your basement, it’s time for a change. If you’ve tried DIY efforts to fix pooling water, cracks in your foundation, leaky basement windows, or high humidity, it’s time to find an experienced, professional waterproofer you can trust. A wet basement wastes valuable living space, damages building materials and stored possessions, pollutes the indoor air, risks the health of those living in the home, and puts your investment in your home at risk. That adds up to considerable risk.
When you choose a basement contractor in the Basement Systems network, you get a local company trained in and committed to the best waterproofing practices. Each of our contractors are experts in the diagnosis of sub-grade moisture problems as well as the design and installation of proper drainage, moisture and humidity control, and basement materials. Say good-bye to your wet basement with the best basement waterproofing in your neighborhood!
Since 1987, Basement Systems dealers across the U.S. and Canada have helped homeowners with their wet basement needs. Flooded basement: North Dakota is certainly no stranger to snowstorms, tornadoes, strong winds, polar fronts, and other dramatic weather. Precipitation comes in the form of winter blizzards, springtime flooding, summer thunderstorms, and wild autumn weather, leaving the entire state flooded. When flooding hits your area, your basement is most likely to be the prime target for water damage.
Other reasons for wet basements: There are many possible sources for pooling water, damp basement walls or flooring, and high humidity. These include: rusty basement windows, poor grading around the foundation, leaks through cracks in the foundation, saturated soils, simple plumbing failures, and poorly functioning drainage or sump pump systems. A basement already musty and damp is ill-prepared for the next bad rainstorm! Basement waterproofing can address the underlying issues, prevent future water damage and improve the indoor air quality.
Waterproof your basement today! The waterproofing experts at Basement Systems have helped homeowners across the state of North Dakota for decades. Identifying the source of leaks, floods, groundwater seepage, and musty odors have all been part of our job as waterproofers. With a range of waterproofing and moisture control solutions available through Basement Systems, your local dealer will install the perfect solution for your basement or crawl space.

Comment: Water seeps in on north side from under the wall. I have 2 sumps and it still seeps in. I have already removed the sheet rock and all the 2x4 framing is rotted as well. Local guy wants to dig outside below footings and put drainage pipes in. Wanting another opinion on options.

Project Location: Burke Street, Butte, ND 58723
Comment: Water in the basement. Not sure where to put sump pump.
Project Location: 2nd Ave N, Deering, ND 58731
Comment: Poor quality concrete floor basement looks like it has been patched multiple times - water comes in from cracks where the retaining wall meets the floor. Floor is usually damp about 18 inches out from the wall, was told that it is a problem in lots of houses in Deering due to the high water table. There usually is not too much standing water - however it has happened. Please advise on getting the basement waterproofed - so that I can look into remodeling the basement. Sump pump turns on at least once per hour.
