The unsealed plastic was simply not enough to keep the humidity at an acceptable level.
Our team installed and sealed the heavy-duty ground vapour barrier and insulated the walls with moisture-resistant SprayFoam Insulation.
We installed our CleanSpace vapour barrier, sealed and insulated the exterior walls with spray foam insulation.
The homeowners wanted to use this space for extra storage.
We sealed the liner together, at the base of the piers and along the existing spray foam insulation - which was in good shape. Now the space is clean, dry and healthy!
The crawl space is completely sealed. The home's floors will be warmer and the entire home more comfortable!
Here you can see our Smart Jack support columns, our spray foam insulation and the Clean Space Encapsulation Barrier. It's now a bright, clean, usable space.
We replaced all the open vents and installed airtight vent covers. Although the covers are only part of creating a healthy and dry crawl space environment - it's an important step!
