A 2x2x2 foot base is opened up and gravel is compacted under the floor. The cube of gravel creates something called the "Bulb of Influence" This bulb under the floor will distribute the weight in every direction to support the weight.
THis area is a low area of the basement and the area that shows the most signs of high water.
This is the old sump system in the home. It is undersized and poor quality.
This is an old farm house with parged walls that are leaking and soft beams.
Before the carbon fiber will adhere, the blocks have to be ground down so that any paint is removed and the pours are opened up.

This area needs to be sealed with a vapor barrier.
