Dirt crawlspace needing a little makeover. The customer now has a usable storage space and a healthier environment.
The couple had had their crawl space encapsulated back in 2008. So they called to have it checked due to hearing weird noises. Michael, our service tech found that the Sump Pump was full of mud, and sediments were lodged in the pipes preventing the water to be discharged out of the crawl space causing slight flooding of the pump. Giving us a perfect example of why yearly check-ups are recommended.
The customer had a vapor barrier previously installed, and was compromised with water and mold. Along with the fiberglass insulation falling apart, causing a very unhealthy crawl space. And lowering the air quality for the home and the family that lived there.
Here is a larger crawlspace that was unusable due to moisture and mold. A SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier unit was installed with the CLeanSpace vapor barrier resulting in a clean, moisture free space that this customer can now use for years to come.
This crawl space in Beaverton, Oregon needed a new vapor barrier and had some mold issues. Our company was able to go out and do a full encapsulation using the woven, antimicrobial CleanSpace Material. We installed a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier which stops mold growth. And installed a SuperSump pump for continuous pumping even during a power outage. Crawl space will now sty clean, dry and energy-efficient.
