This homeowner had Smart Vents installed around their crawl space. The Smart Vents will keep water out when it floods or rains. The Smart Vents also helped lower their flood insurance rate.

Wilbur, H of Raffin, SC had a wet, dirty crawl space that he had been dealing with for a while. He tried to dry out the crawl space by installing a crawl space fan. The fan blew warm humid air in the cool crawl space only making things worse. He paid a pest control company to put plastic down but it didn't last.

This homeowner was interested in decreasing the humidity in their crawlspace. They were noticing small pools of water and gross smells permeating the home from the crawlspace. They called us at Lowcountry Foundation Repair and we sent a team out to install a  CleanSpace Encapsulation, complete with sump pump and dehumidifier. Additionally, the floor was unsupported in one area, so SmartJacks were installed to stabilize the floor.
