A home in Clarksville, TN, was experiencing musty odors and noticeable cracks in the interior walls. Upon inspection, a deteriorating foundation and an unhealthy crawl space were discovered. The old, rusted crawl space door opened to reveal a space with high relative humidity, damaged wood, and clear signs of wood rot. The compromised foundation and crawl space conditions were contributing to structural instability and poor indoor air quality. To address these significant issues, our team carried out a thorough foundation repair and encapsulation project. We installed robust steel beams to provide lasting support, as they are resistant to rot and mold. Additionally, the SmartJack Stabilizer system, constructed from galvanized steel, was used to lift and stabilize the structure, restoring it to its original position. The completed project not only rectified the foundation problems but also transformed the crawl space into a dry, healthy environment, ensuring the home’s long-term stability and improved indoor air quality.
