To address this, we installed the PowerBrace™ System, using zinc-plated steel beams custom-fit to the basement's height. These beams are securely anchored to the floor and framing. The after photo showcases the stability achieved. This system prevents further inward wall movement, offering a lasting solution.

This shop floor in Princeton Kentucky had dropped over 2 inches. The dropping had created cracks in the concrete floor that were only getting worse over time.

To mitigate these issues, first, we treated the mold, and then we encapsulated the crawl space. This project included installing Drainage matting, covering the crawl space in CleanSpace liner, installing a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier, and sealing the crawl space vents and any other air leaks with SilverGlo panels and spray foam insulation. 

Moisture, mold and pooling water are problems in this crawl space, which hasn’t been properly sealed. The encapsulation treatment totally separates and protects the crawl space interior from outdoor conditions, keeping the space clean and dry. Crawl space sealing and insulation will help you avoid unnecessary repairs, create a healthier living space, and save money on your utility bills. To control the moisture issues, we cleaned out the crawl space of debris, added Drainage Matting to the floors, CleanSpace Vapor Barrier to the walls and floors, a TripleSafe sump pump, sealed the vents, and installed a SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier to pull any excess moisture from the air. We also installed an IceGuard and LawnScape system as well.
