As a homeowner, one of the last things you want to deal with is water damage, especially from a flooded basement. Wet basement issues happen more often than you may think and can leave behind serious property damage. If you are suffering from constant worry about the health and safety of your basement, it’s time for a change. If you’ve tried DIY efforts to fix pooling water, cracks in your foundation, leaky basement windows, or high humidity, it’s time to find an experienced, professional waterproofer you can trust. A wet basement wastes valuable living space, damages building materials and stored possessions, pollutes the indoor air, risks the health of those living in the home, and puts your investment in your home at risk. That adds up to considerable risk.
When you choose a basement contractor in the Basement Systems network, you get a local company trained in and dedicated to the best waterproofing practices. Each contractor listed here is an expert in the diagnosis of sub-grade moisture problems as well as the design and installation of proper drainage, moisture and humidity control, and basement materials. Say good-bye to your wet basement with the best basement waterproofing in your neighborhood!

Flooded basement: Utah is a relatively dry state but when the rainy season starts or the snow begins to melt local flooding can be an issue. When flooding hits your area, your basement is most likely to be the prime target for water damage.
Other reasons for wet basements: There are many possible sources for pooling water, damp basement walls or flooring, and high humidity. These include: rusty basement windows, poor grading around the foundation, leaks through cracks in the foundation, saturated soils, simple plumbing failures, and poorly functioning drainage or sump pump systems. A basement already musty and damp is ill-prepared for the next bad rainstorm! Basement waterproofing can address the underlying issues, prevent future water damage and improve the indoor air quality.
Waterproof your wet basement today! Waterproofing experts in the Basement Systems network have helped homeowners across the country for decades, by identifying the source of leaks, flooding, groundwater seepage, and musty odors. With a range of waterproofing and moisture control solutions available through Basement Systems, your local dealer will install the right solution for your basement or crawl space.

Comment: I have a stairwell that leads to the basement entrance of my home. The stairwell and entrance were an addition a handful of years ago. The concrete work is not great and the drain is a hair HIGHER than the concrete porch/ entrance to the basement. Unfortunately, the drain cover was concreted in place and I can't remove it. I may have to bust out the concrete. Every time it rains, especially if it's heavy rains heavy or quickly, the water floods under the door into my basement almost immediately. It is ruining my carpet and is a big stress for me. I am guessing I need a sump pump, but am not sure. I would love to for someone to give it a look. S
