A homeowner in Greenville, WI was experiencing water intrusion along one basement wall during heavy rains and snowmelt. Although the existing sump pump was functional, the leaking wall caused moisture buildup, staining, and musty odors throughout the space. Seasonal groundwater changes in the Fox Valley area made the issue worse, and the homeowner needed a solution that would protect the wall surface while directing water to their current sump system.
After:
Sure-Dry installed CleanSpace® vapor barrier along the leaking wall to create a sealed, waterproof surface that prevents moisture from entering the basement airspace. A perimeter WaterGuard® drainage system was installed at the wall-floor joint to collect and redirect any incoming water directly into the existing sump pump.
The basement now remains dry, controlled, and properly protected during seasonal groundwater spikes.
