I joined Northern States Basement Systems nine years ago, and somehow, I blinked and here we are. With a background in management, sales, carpentry, and construction, I was ready for a career change—and it turns out this was exactly where I was meant to land.
Over the years, I’ve pretty much seen it all. No two days are ever the same, which keeps things interesting. One day I’m handling installations or service calls, and the next I’m jumping in with the crew because, let’s be honest, there’s always something that needs an extra set of hands. If there’s work to be done, I’m probably nearby.
One of the best parts of the job (besides working with a fantastic team) is getting to meet new people and build relationships. I genuinely enjoy connecting with homeowners and being part of the solution—it’s a pretty great feeling to leave a place better than you found it.
When I’m off the clock, you’ll find me on the golf course, out fishing, or spending time with my wife, kids, and grandkids. And if I’m being honest, the grandkids probably keep me busier than work does!
