Northern States Basement Systems
With construction basically running through my veins, joining Northern States Basement Systems just felt right. Taking on multiple roles here has been a natural (and pretty exciting) career move. I’ve completed extensive ongoing and specialized training to install our systems and equipment—even traveling to headquarters in Connecticut to get fully certified in every aspect of the job. If there’s a class to take or a skill to sharpen, I’m probably already signed up.
At Northern States, I wear many… MANY hats. In addition to being CEO and one of the owners, I might also be the production manager, foreman, or service specialist—sometimes all before lunch. One minute I’m leading a crew and working hands-on with concrete, the next I’m following up on leads and building relationships with new clients. I like to stay involved in every part of the process to make sure our projects meet the high standards we’ve built our name on.
What I value most about this role is the independence and flexibility it provides. I thrive in a fast-paced environment—especially when we’re busy. Hard work doesn’t scare me; it fuels me. The busier we are, the happier I am.
When I’m not working, you’ll find me hunting, fishing, or camping. But at the end of the day, nothing beats the pride I feel knowing what we do really matters—because around here, we don’t just fix basements… WE SAVE HOMES!!!
