9We picked 2 highly rated companies on Angie's List to inspect the foundations and brick basement walls in our 100-year old house before undertaking further work to convert it to living space. The other company recommended an expensive perimeter drainage and sump system. Thrasher's inspection determined no such work was needed and suggested any interior flaking of the brick walls inside the basement was caused by humidity and suggested a high capacity dehumidifier. They also suggested another contractor to accomplish some floor repair as well as recommended a well-known restoration contractor if we decided to restore the original brick walls for a historically correct look for living area. Thrasher saved us a ton of money and was great to work with!
