Your New Hampshire crawl space is a key to your home’s health. If your crawl space begins to rot, grow mold, or experience structural problems, this has the potential to extend to every part of your house.
Many homes in New Hampshire have dirt, vented or unconditioned concrete crawl spaces. This can be very detrimental to homes because moisture vapor and high humidity in the soil moves easily from the dirt into your crawl space and then into the rest of the home. Moisture ruins houses by providing a hospitable environment for mold, fungi, and insects that destroy wood framing. Crawl space moisture, and the mold and mildew that thrive in this environment, affect not only the floor system directly above, but also the entire house.
CleanSpace Crawl Space Encapsulation System
The CleanSpace system completely isolates your home from the earth, dramatically reducing the humidity level in the air and, in some cases, eliminating mold growth, rot, and critters from your crawl space. It not only makes the entire house healthier, but also makes it more energy efficient.
Basement Systems, Inc has dealers who install the CleanSpace System throughout New Hampshire, offering, Crawl Space Insulation in New Hampshire, including Berlin, Concord, Dover, Keene Lebanon, Manchester, Portsmouth and any surrounding areas.

Project Location: Collins Street, Berlin, NH 03570
Comment: I bought a house last year with a dirt floor crawl space and it seems very wet down there, (mud season), water sitting etc... there is a sump pump that goes on and off attached to the sewage line that gets the bulk of the water. I was just curious what the best way was to improve or fix these issues. The furnace, oil tank and some support posts are all on concrete slabs, but some rust, rot can be seen at floor level. I would like to put a concrete floor down around the sump pump but not sure if that is doable or recommended.
