The wall on the right was a problematic wall for the homeowner as it let water seep in after rains. The corner it runs into also posed a great spot to install our sump pump system.
The block walls in this basement were experiencing water seepage and cracking with no protection from intruding moisture.
The state of this wall was getting serious. The mortar joints were completely busted along the middle and the block had begun to turn over.
The massive water leakage led to molding along the walls.
The CarbonArmor strips on this wall are perfect for this type of horizontal cracking. They provide flexibility while maintaining their tensile strength.
To install out WaterGuard product we must dig a trench and place it against the side walls. This allows the water that reaches the block wall and travels down it to be collected.
Moisture and pressure from the ground started to shift this foundation wall.
As the foundation settled the corner of the exterior wall cracked to release the pressure.
