Crawl Space Repair Contractors in Texas

Many people understand that, through a combination of high temperatures and high humidity, Texas environments encourage mold growth, structural decay and poor indoor environmental quality in their home, but few realize that these problems have a lot to do with their crawl space.

Your home is a system, and every part of that system plays a role that affects the rest of the structure. If your crawl space begins to rot, grow mold, or experience structural problems, this will extend to every part of your home.

A home with a dirt crawl space costs more to heat and cool. And if your crawl space is vented, those vents let hot, wet, or cold air in, making your floors cold upstairs in winter and hot in summer.

To combat the crawl space problems, our CleanSpace dealers from Basement Systems international crawl space contractors network have positioned themselves to be the leading experts in crawl space moisture control and all other crawl space repair services. Whatever your issue, we have the products and experience that you need to find the best solution.

Fixing your crawl space is one home repair you can't afford not to make. Whether you live in Houston, San Antonio, Dallas, Austin, Fort Worth, El Paso or Arlington, our certified crawl space dealers in your local area are ready to assist you with customized crawl space repair solutions that include our state of the art, patented CleanSpace products, such as:

Crawl spaces have a bad reputation —as cramped, damp, dirty spaces that harbor bad-smelling mold, insects and other pests. The CleanSpace system of crawl space repair is designed to turn this ugly area into an asset —a part of your house you can actually be proud of. Our trained technicians make this transformation possible by combining waterproofing techniques with high-performance insulation, durable moisture barriers and effective air-sealing strategies.

Recent job requests for crawl space repair in TX:

Project Location: Princeton, TX 75407

Comment: Crawl space is musty and no insulation. Floors are cold. Recently had foundation and plumbing repairs.

Project Location: Hurst, TX 76053

Comment: We have some groundwater coming into the crawl space when it rains. Moisture in crawl space. We need to get this closed off so that we can dry out the crawl space and prevent more groundwater coming in.

Project Location: Austin, TX 78757

Comment: Would like a vapor barrier installed over dirt floor in crawlspace of a 1400-sq-ft home. Overlapped by 12", staked with U-stakes (for drip-irrigation tubing), pinned and taped to the piers and cinderblock perimeter.

Project Location: Austin, TX 78722

Comment: Hello, We have a home on peer and beams with a brick facade that goes below grade. The crawlspace has a dirt floor. I started the work to encapsulate the crawlspace after the summer and fall when there had been no rain using spray foam on the above grade walls. When I went back today after a week of heavy rain I noticed there is water coming through the brick and soaking cement skit that is under the brick. I also noticed the joist bays are damp. I am assuming the water is coming from the saturated soil, but I am not confident. The beams are more than 70 years-old. Some of the bays are several feet above grade. We have new gutters and recently re-plumbed the house. My biggest fear is causing the joists to rot. My end goal is to encapsulate the entire crawlspace to save on heating and cooling costs and prevent the pipes from freezing. I.e I want to no longer have a ventilated crawlspace.
