We just bought a house and have discovered water in the crawlspace. It is pooling towards the rear of the house and the largest area of water is probably 15'x15' and at most 1-2" deep. It was not present at time of inspection (September) but was discovered at point of move in (October). While I have not been able to identify the source of the leak, I do not believe it is related to leaking pipes of fresh or grey water as there is no odor and was discovered soon after a significant rain storm. I have monitored it over the past few weeks and have not noticed a significant worsening of the situation, but it also has not improved. I am hoping the crawl space can be cleaned, the source of the leak identified, and if possible, fixed. Thanks!
