Window Well Replacement and Drainage Upgrade in Surrey, BC

This project focused on rebuilding and improving the drainage of an existing window well. The team started by removing and disposing of the old materials, then cleared out excess soil and debris to create six inches of proper clearance beneath the window. A clean layer of stone was added to promote better water drainage and stability.

A new window well was constructed using treated lumber for long-lasting protection. To further prevent moisture buildup, a drainage mat was installed along the exterior and finished neatly with a mould strip at the top edge. The area was then backfilled with soil and completed with a custom-made aluminum grill, providing a durable, clean, and secure finish.

Rebuilding a Functional Window Well in Surrey, BC

For this project, we removed the old window well materials and cleaned up the area. To improve drainage and create enough space under the window, we cleared away extra soil and added clean stone. Then, we built a brand-new window well using pressure-treated wood and added a special drainage mat to help water flow away properly. The top edge of the mat was sealed with a mold strip for a clean finish, and we reused the existing soil to backfill the area.

Window Well Replacement and Drainage Improvement in Surrey

This project was about improving drainage and protecting the foundation around the window wells. We removed the old, worn materials and cleared out excess soil and debris to create proper space below the windows. Clean stone was added to help water drain away more effectively.

New window wells were built using treated lumber for strength and long-term durability. A drainage layer was installed along the exterior to guide water away from the foundation, and everything was neatly finished before backfilling the soil.

To complete the job, custom aluminum grills were installed over the window wells, adding safety and a clean, finished look. These improvements help reduce the risk of water buildup and keep the home better protected year-round.
