To help improve drainage around the home, we drilled a clean opening through the foundation wall and connected our system to the existing rainwater drainpipe. This setup helps direct water away from the house, reducing the risk of pooling, leaks, or foundation damage. Everything was sealed properly to ensure a smooth and reliable connection.
In this project, we transformed the crawl space into a clean, dry, and energy-efficient area. We fully sealed the space to block moisture, installed a durable floor liner for added comfort and protection, and treated surfaces to prevent mould growth. New insulation was added to the walls and rim joists to help keep the home warmer in winter and cooler in summer. We also installed a reliable sump pump system with backup protection to remove any water that might enter, and safeguards were added outside to prevent flooding from frozen or clogged pipes. Overall, these improvements will keep the crawl space healthy, dry, and better protected for years to come.
We completed a crawl space project in an area with limited access due to a tree stump near the entrance. Although the space was tight, we were able to install a moisture barrier and insulation in the areas we could safely reach. The crawl space measures approximately 19 feet by 30 feet, and we worked as thoroughly as possible within the accessible sections to help improve comfort, energy efficiency, and overall protection under the home.

This project was all about making the crawl space drier, healthier, and more comfortable. We installed a dehumidifier and air purification system to help control humidity and reduce damp conditions that can lead to mould and musty odors. The system drains safely into the existing plumbing and is supported on a stand for proper performance.
All wood surfaces were treated to help prevent mould growth, and the old fiberglass insulation along the exterior rim joist and wall framing was removed and disposed of. New wall insulation was installed and carefully sealed to reduce drafts and improve energy efficiency.
In the end, the crawl space is now cleaner, drier, and better insulated, helping protect the home and giving the homeowners greater comfort and peace of mind.
