Before & After Photos

This crawl space in Laguna Beach, CA was suffering from excess moisture and exposed soil, creating a risk for mold, structural damage, and poor air quality. Saber Foundation Repair transformed the space with a full CleanSpace encapsulation system, sealing out humidity and preventing future water intrusion. The before-photo shows a crawl space that was in dire need of a support post. In that area of the home, the homeowner was experiencing sagging floors and that was due to not being enough support from underneath the floor joists. The after-photo shows how we solved this problem by installing a post with caps. Now the homeowner will not experience their past problems and have peace of mind. 

Project Design Specialist Eamon R. did the evaluation for a home in Hacienda Heights and found that the moisture levels in the crawl space were through the roof. The humidity was peaking near 90% in the entire space. With humidity being so high, the wood readings were above 55% moisture. Have a high reading of humidity and moisture will not only cause the bad odor the family is experiencing, but it can also cause insect infestation, mold growth, and sagging floors. After Eamon’s inspection, he recommended that the home received the CleanSpace package. These photos show the before and after of the Cleanspace installation.

The after photo shows how we replace some of the posts with 350 smartjacks® and a 70ft galvanized supplemental beam to fix their issues and restore value to their home.
