This home in Sussex County Delaware is well over 100 years old, as are many homes in the historical towns in lower Delaware. It is a wonderful home above ground and the owners have even been making improvements over the years. When they finished installing the geothermal heating lines, they went down to inspect the work and saw a wet and smelly cellar. This lead them to add the crawlspace and cellar as the next repair on their list. Both husband and wife had been annoyed with the springy floors in the living room and new that something had to be out of the ordinary down there. Once they saw the inspector's photos and solutions, they were excited to get the floors fixed properly. Several SmartJacks were installed to replace the old concrete pillars, many of which had completely fallen over. SmartJacks are sturdy and adjustable, just in case they need a little tweaking in the future.
For this homeowner, the basement was almost never used and almost avoided. However, they started noticing some signs of settling in their home, they had to take a look in the basement. When they went downstairs, they could not have prepared for what they saw! Their basement wall was bowing inwards! They called the experts at DryZone to do foundation repairs and save their home. With PowerBraces, the walls are stabilized and will over time be restored completely!

In Tylerton, MD the crawl space is having a few issue with the foundation. The homeowner was concerned about the foundation of the home and he wanted something to support his home that he would not have to worry about. When floor joists settle, the beams do as well, the finished floors upstairs begin to slope towards the middle of the house. That was the problem that this homeowner did not want to face, which is why DryZone suggested that we install SmartJacks. Because they are not made of organic material mold will not break down the SmartJacks.
