Bare concrete basement walls can be very porous and hold moisture from groundwater. After adding waterproof walls, a french drain was added to guide water to a nearby sump pump.
After noticing how much water can damage a basement, this homeowner wanted to prevent a problem before it starts. The basement has always been clean and dry, and they wanted to keep it that way forever. DryZone encapsulated the walls and added a sump pump connected to a trench drain system to keep water intrusion from damaging the basement.
The homeowner noticed a crack under their steps as well as water coming from around the pipe chase right below their crawlspace. Their crawlspace also is not encapsulated, so we will be adding CleanSpace Vapor Barrier to keep the area clean, dry and healthy.
FlexiSpan will fill and seal the crack to make sure no more water will come through in both areas. As for the crawlspace, we pulled out all of the old insulation so that we could properly encapsulate the area.
This Magnolia, DE homeowner reached out to the experts at DryZone due to concerns of microbial growth in their crawlspace. To alleviate these concerns the production team at DryZone installed CleanSpace, SmartSump, SaniDry Sedona, and sealed off the vents from outside.
