MaryAnn started noticing a musty smell inside her home and wanted to improve the condition of her crawlspace. After a thorough inspection, our System Design Specialist, Derek, found that the humidity level in the crawlspace was 70%, well above the recommended 55% benchmark. Excess moisture like this can create the perfect environment for microbial growth and can impact the air quality throughout the home.
To solve the problem, our team installed our CleanSpace encapsulation system. CleanSpace is a heavy-duty 20-mil liner, about the thickness of a pool liner, that is manufactured with seven layers of high-density polyethylene for puncture resistance, low-density polyethylene for flexibility, and polyester cord reinforcement for exceptional tear strength. This creates a durable moisture barrier that helps keep the crawlspace clean and dry.
To keep the humidity under control year-round, we also installed a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier. The Sedona can remove up to 100 pints of moisture per day while circulating more than 300 cubic feet of dry air per minute throughout the crawlspace. Together, these systems provide MaryAnn with a healthier crawlspace and help protect her home's investment for years to come.
This homeowner in Bethany Beach called DryZone complaining of their sump pump not working and flooding their yard. DryZone went in and installed the TripleSafe Sump Pump system, which is three pumps in one, so if pump 1 fails, pump 2 takes over, or if pump 1 can't keep up both pump 1 and 2 will operate. Also, if the power fails, pump 3 takes over on a battery-operated backup system. The homeowners also had an IceGuard System installed, which is great if it the temperature drops as it prevents freezing on the exterior drainage pipes, so that the water can still escape out from the basement.
This homeowner needed better access to check her crawl space. Team DryZone gave her just that. A larger accewss with better visual appeal gave this homeowner the peace of mind that she desired!
This homeowner was confronted for soggy shoes when trying to get from her car into her home due to her discharge line dumping into her driveway. Team DryZone installed a HyrdoLink discharge line with pop-up for this happy homeowner. The line that we installed will spread the water our over 24 feet instead of all in one space. Those 24 feet of distribution will help insure dry feet for this homeowner for years to come!
