Frances S. started becoming anxious when she noticed her elevated concrete driveway sinking. She's lived in her New Port Richey, Florida home for many years and never experienced this before. She called on LRE Foundation Repair for help. Upon inspection, it was clear natural erosion and soil washout was the cause of Frances's sinking driveway. PolyLevel and NexusPro are the two products that make up the concrete protection system that we used to restore Frances's driveway.  PolyLevel concrete lifting foam is used to lift and stabilize, while NexusPro is used to seal joins to eliminate any water filtration. By pairing the two, we were able to lift Frances's driveway back level and ensure permanent protection and stabilization. 

Douglas requested assistance from LRE Foundation Repair to help design an effective drainage solution for his New Port Richey, Florida home. Persistent flooding around the home had resulted in regular water intrusion indoors, and he realized that he needed to address this issue before further damage to his foundation could occur. Following a thorough inspection of the home by an LRE Design Specialist, a plan was devised to clear much of the vegetation around the flooded area of the home and install a French Drain to collect excess rainwater and divert it away from the home. The LRE team proceeded to clear the excess plant growth and installed the French Drain, effectively resolving the persistent flooding issue around the home. A solution was designed for this situation using a product called PolyLevel. This expanding flowable material is pumped through small holes in the concrete and flows directly below the slab. As the material fills in voids and compacts soils, it lifts concrete back into place. To address the issue, we designed a tailored plan using our helical pier system to permanently stabilize and lift the foundation back into its proper position. Once Torrey approved this plan, our crew carefully installed the piers deep below the home until they reached solid, load-bearing soil. The piers were then secured to the foundation’s footer, allowing us to transfer the home’s weight and lift the structure back to its original position.

As a result, the foundation was fully stabilized, and the cracks that once worried Torrey were successfully closed. With the repair complete, she can now feel confident that her home is protected for the future.
