This homeowner called us out to his property in Clarkesville, Georgia because he was having issues with heating and cooling his home and their was a lot of moisture getting in. After a free inspection, one of our System Design Specialists found that the crawl space was damp, moldy, and the insulation was loose and all over the place. After talking through the issues and solutions, the homeowner asked us to encapsulate his crawl space.
In order to do this, our crew had to first remove all the debris and insulation and then seal the vents so that outside air can't get in. Then they used the CleanSpace Vapor Barrier and Drainage matting on the walls and floors so that moisture can't seep in. CleanSpace also prevents mold from being able to grow. To finish the job, they added a SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier to remove excessive moisture from the air.
Now this crawl space is clean and dry, and it is easier and cheaper for this homeowner to cool and heat their home!
This homeowner gave us a call because they knew they were dealing with moisture and mildew in their crawl space. Looking for a way to keep their crawl space dry, they opted for a solution that could control moisture, humidity, and prevent mold. To do this, Isaiah and his crew removed any debris, like fallen insulation, and then they started installing CleanSpace. The CleanSpace creates a vapor barrier that keeps moisture from getting in and causing problems. The crew also sealed up all the crawl space vents and installed an Everlast Door to prevent outside elements like water or critters from getting in. The finishing touch was installing a SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier to ensure that relative humidity stays under control. The SaniDry can also filter the air and remove mold spores or allergens.
This homeowner gave us a call because they had mold in their crawl space that was causing odors in the rest of their house. After performing an inspection, Foster then created a custom waterproofing plan that will prevent the growth of mold. First, the crew had to remove all the debris and then seal off the crawl space vents. Additionally, they installed an EverLast door to further create an airtight seal in the crawl space. The crew installed SilverGlo graphite insulation on the walls and then used CleanSpace on the floors and to wrap the piers. The finishing touch was installing a SaniDry Sedona to control the relative humidity and filter out mold spores. Now this homeowner can have peace of mind that this basement and home are protected from mold and moisture.
