Jeff didn’t mind rain, unless there were large amounts of rainfall. His sump pump worked fine, but during large amounts, his basement seemed to still become wet in some areas. He reached out to MidAmerica Basement Systems to have his pump looked at. He was offered a WaterGuard system to help prevent water from surfacing during heavy rainfalls. Water collects in WaterGuard and is than redirected to the sump pump where it is properly discharged out of his basement. Thanks to the additional help of WaterGuard, no amount of rain bothers Jeff.

These bowing walls looked to be on the verge of collapsing in, so the homeowners asked for some help from MidAmerica Basement Systems. Our production team stabilized the walls by installing PowerBraces, which permanently stop the inward movement of the wall and can help straighten the wall over time.

Every time it rained hard, water would seep through the cracks with no way to get to the sump pump. The Crew returned to install a WaterGuard system so that water would properly flow to the sump pump instead of sitting in puddles on the concrete floor.
