When Denise first purchased her home, she knew that she would want to someday finish her basement. After a few years of living in her home, she began to notice water seepages, putting her basement finishing project on hold. She knew that she couldn’t afford both basement waterproofing and basement finishing, so instead she left the basement unattended. When Denise heard of the WQAD Dry Basement Giveaway by MidAmerica Basement Systems, she thought she would give it a shot. Design specialist Joe Sarb, had inspected her situation and informed her on what she would need to do to fix her leaking basement. The day finally came when the winner was announced and Denise couldn’t believe it. She received a full perimeter drainage system, WaterGuard, and a TripleSafe sump pump. Denise also added CleanSpace Wall and a spray foam installation to help decrease humidity levels and increase the efficiency of the basement. She now has a dry basement that she can either leave the way it is, or finish it the way she would like.

Zach and Lindsey tried to sell their house last year, and during their inspection an issue with their foundation was discovered and the sale fell through.  They knew they would have to get the problem fixed if they ever had any hope of selling their house.   Luckily, that was the same time MidAmerica Basement Systems was running a foundation repair giveaway contest.  As the lucky winners, Zach and Lindsey got the repair work they needed.  They were able to sell their home this Spring!

Rene was great in her calls and email to me. She was always very attentive and careful to provide just the right amount of guidance and support. Cole Tatge was very very good. He spent much time with me, going over every detail and all of the rationale for the process and procedures. The presentation materials were excellent and the video was helpful. David Ezelle is an exceptional co-foreman. Together with Richard, the foreman, they made a cohesive pair. I was especially pleased that, in spite of some difficulty with the graph they were given, David and Richard went the extra mile to resolve the issue rather than merely going back to Davenport. David was especially professional in the way he approached the job and the way that he communicated with me. He was very careful regarding the preparation of the materials and equipment and the way that he completed the work. My driveway, sidewalk, and steps are now safe and neat. in spite of some difficulty with the graph they were given, David and Richard went the extra mile to resolve the issue rather than merely considering going back to Davenport. David and Richard were very careful to provide a thorough cleanup. They are especially meticulous, given the kinds of materials that they work with. I had tried to secure a local company for slablifting. I used Thumbtack. I only received a call back from one large company that is located in Missouri. Of my three inquiries, I made an assumption that they did not necessarily want to deal with senior citizens. That is my personal assumption. I subsequently used Home Advisor and found MidAmerica Basement Systems. I couldn't believe the exceptional professionalism and gracious care of each person with whom I was in contact

Our old house had a terrible leaky basement. I called your company on a whim and was super impressed with the work and the fact that we had a dry basement for the 1st time ever. When we lost our house to 130 mile an hour straight line winds we rebuilt. New basement, thought we were good with tile and sump pit installed. Boy were we wrong. Our pit/pump couldn't keep up, after 2 floods in the basement, I called you company. I know that I will sleep well tonight during the rains as I am covered by Mid America Basements Systems and the Triple Safe Sump Pump Systems. I heard good comments about MidAmerica Basement Systems, and talked to a representative years ago at a local home show. I had a basement drain/pump system installed in one rental house several years ago. Because of success with that 1st system, I had another installed in a second rental house in 2015. Today, 02-Jan-2017, Adao Natario performed service on both systems, replaced one pump, and also recommended some other work, which I will consider. Adao is a good representative for your company, works well with customers, shows enthusiasm and professionalism, and ensured the work area was clean before he left. Thank you.

I've had your products (floor, walls, windows, sump pump, Sanidry, washing machine hoses, etc.) since 2009/10. At that time, your company had the most complete solution for what I needed. I'm going to be getting your new Sanidry shortly since my old one (much bigger) finally died. I've never been disappointed with your products or service, and my basement has been dry every since installation. I've recommended your products to the church where I work -- where they have a basement that desperately needs waterproofing. A salesman has already come out to speak to the parish manager. The decision is out of my hands, but I've strongly recommended your company and waterproofing products.

We chose MidAmerica Basement Systems because we were interested in more than just waterproofing and you were able to cover it all (egress window, waterproofing, radon, flooring, humidity control, air quality). A one stop shop. Karl worked hard in less than ideal temperatures (10degrees or less/snow). He kept me informed, took time for my questions, went over things with me before leaving.  Also covered the entry through the porch and down the stairs with plastic to help keep it clean which I appreciated since weather was so bad.

I just want to say thanks again to our installation crew, Mike and Levi, it was a little tough for this home owner to see a giant hole in the wall, but they assured me it would be fine and look great and they were right!!! Joe Sarb did an amazing job selling me on these windows, he met with my husband and I at a time that worked perfect for us and was very knowledgeable about the products that were offered and answered all of our questions to our satisfaction. The installation crew was amazing! Mike Keck and Levi (I think that is the right name) were very professional and did an amazing job of making the window look like it has been there all along, I was amazed at how quickly the installation was completed and at how well they cleaned up after themselves. I couldn't have asked for a better clean up job, there was very little dust, after a couple minutes of sweeping and rearranging my basement was back to normal! We were recommended to your company several years ago for a sump pump install. When Job Sarb came to inspect the pump recently he offered me some flyers about windows and other services that I didn't even realize were offered. We had been talking for a long time about doing an egress window and after working with Joe we decided to purchase and egress window as well as 4 new basement windows.

All aspects of service are great.  Mac was very knowledgeable, good natured and sincere. He helped us create the basement we wanted, convincing us that his knowledge of his products were even better than the ideas that we had come up with.  Mike Clementz is one of your most valuable assets. He is a workaholic and a perfectionist. He wants the job done to the customers satisfaction. Don't lose this guy!  The cleanup process was fast, efficient and complete. Especially appreciated the method used to break up cement keeping the dust at a minimum.
