The Sump Pump was repaired yesterday, as the piping had come loose, but the well is a non-standard size, so a standard lid isn't going to fit it. I am planning to put a custom built one on there. At the same time, on the other side of the basement, there is a seeping leak from the ground water that is coming up from the "sealed" flooring, and the paint on the walls is peeling away. All of these together, and I have concerns for the moisture bringing potential mold. I am looking at sealing the floors, and possibly getting a better cap on the sump pump than a plywood circle and spray foam...
