1. Mainers are proud of their winter wonderland. However, they are also no stranger to the frequent flood caused by the snow melt.
2. Whenever flood occurs, homeowners often find unwanted water in their basement or crawl space.
3. If you allow it to be wet, moldy, humid, smelly, and unhealthy, you're abandoning an entire floor of space in your home. Additionally, the basement air - filled with odors, dust mite feces, humidity, and mold spores - will rise into the rest of the house, ruining the healthy environment of the home.
Fortunately, we have basement waterproofing specialists in Maine from our network that can help you find the right solution. We've seen all kinds of wet basements and crawl spaces throughout Maine and have helped thousands of home owners remedy their problems.
Wet basements in Maine typically get our patented WaterGuard Basement waterproofing system. We also have a number of other basement waterproofing products such as our SunHouse window well (seen on HGTV's "I Want That"), an energy-efficient and powerful basement dehumidifier(The SaniDry Basement Air System), basement wall and floor treatments, and more.

Comment: We have two areas of concern. One is a crack along the floor of the basement by the stairs that has recently started seeping water. It is about a 2 foot section of the crack. The next is in a room in the basement - we believe behind the wall is where the water is leaking in. We do have a working sump pump, but this water is coming up on the floor through the middle of the basement.

Comment: I have been dealing with a roof leak that caused mold in our master bedroom. I am under contract to deal with that and remediation has started. However, they have now identified mold in the basement as well and will be submitting another estimate to my insurance company for cleaning of that space. How will I ensure this mold doesn't reappear once all this work is completed? My husband has had a migraine that has lasted 8 months+ without a break! I am in hopes this remediation will take care of his health issues and will not reappear! Looking for answers!
