They were also dealing with water making its way into the basement during heavy rainfall so when our inspector, David, went to the home he drew up a solution that would fix both the foundation and water issues. On installation day, our foreman, Julius, and his crew started with waterproofing the basement. They installed our WaterGuard drainage system along the perimeter of the basement floor to collect groundwater and our TripleSafe sump pump was installed to send all of the water out of the home. For the foundation issues, the crew installed CarbonArmor in four areas along the unstable foundation wall. CarbonArmor is carbon fiber sheets and epoxy molding together to stabilize and repair the cracked, bowing wall. Once the CarbonArmor is dry, the wall will no longer move or endure settling issues. Now the homeowner can rest easy knowing their basement is waterproof and foundation is structurally sound!
