To prevent this issue from worsening, Greg recommended lifting and leveling the sidewalk back to its original state. The homeowner agreed and worked with Greg to find the best installation date. When the installation date arrived, our Foreman, Charlie, and his crew traveled to the home and began by installing PolyLevel below the sinking slabs. After the PolyLevel was secured, the crew shifted to filling and replacing the joints and cracks with NexusPro, a silicone-based solution. When he finished, he explained to the homeowner that concrete can sink for a variety of reasons but that we could help fix the issue with the help of our PolyLevel method. He explained that PolyLevel is a dense polyurethane foam that expands when it's injected beneath sinking concrete slabs. It works to fill voids left over by soil erosion and slowly lifts sunken concrete back to it's desired location. Kole went on to say that our team recommends the application of NexusPro. This silicone-based sealant gets applied to the cracks and joints of the newly lifted concrete and works to protect the vulnerable soil below by preventing water from getting between the slabs.
