A customer from Belle Plaine, MN got in contact with us when he began to notice his walkway leading up to his house was sinking, creating a sizable gap between the stair and the walkway. When he called in, we set him up with our FREE estimate, entitling him to a thorough inspection of the issue by one of our Design Specialists. Once the appointment was set, our Design Specialist, headed out to the property to assess the issue. When completed, he let our customer know that the reason the concrete was sinking was due to faulty soil underneath. He informed him that this could be due to excessive heat, water intrusion, or poorly compacted soil from when the home was built. He recommended the use of our PolyLevel injection to correct the problem. Our Design Specialist explained that this modern approach utilized an expanding polyurethane foam to raise the slab back to its original state. He went on to say that this method is far less invasive than alternative remedies. Our customer agreed and work began shortly after.
Our Foreman, Dylon, began the process by drilling strategic holes into the concrete walkway. Next, he injected the foam into the hole and closely monitored the lifting process, making sure the slab returned to where it should be.
Once completed, our customer was happy to know he had eliminated the gap and could go back to safely using his concrete slab!

Our concrete repair experts drilled small holes into the concrete slabs where the driveway needed to be raised. Then, they injected a polymer foam called PolyLevel, until it was raised to be even with the garage floor. Lastly, they filled the holes with concrete and sealed the cracks in the driveway with our NexusPro sealant. The sealant helps to protect the concrete and also gives it a nice, finished look. The process only took a couple of hours, and the homeowner was amazed with the finished product! She was impressed with how polite our crew was and how quickly they completed the project.
