A homeowner in Moorhead, MN, noticed it was time to schedule their annual maintenance. The homeowner called our Appointment Center and scheduled their annual maintenance appointment with our Service team. Once the appointment was set, the homeowner prepared for the arrival of our Service Technician, Marc. A few days later, Marc traveled to the home to begin the thorough inspection of the installed products. During the inspection, the homeowner mentioned to Marc that the walkway from the home to the garage was sinking significantly. Marc took a closer look and confirmed the walkway was sinking due to settlement. To prevent the settlement from continuing, Marc suggested lifting and leveling the sidewalk back to its original position. Knowing this was the best plan of action, the homeowner agreed and worked with Marc to find the best installation date. When the installation date arrived, our Foreman, Charlie, and his crew traveled to the home to begin. First, Charlie and his crew started by inserting PolyLevel below the sinking slabs. Once the PolyLevel was inserted, the crew shifted to repairing the cracks and joints with NexusPro, a silicone-based solution. As soon as both products were secured, Charlie and his crew cleaned up their matierals and left the home. The homeowner was delighted with the excellent work completed by the crew. A homeowner in Cyrus, MN, noticed that his driveway had developed cracks and become uneven. Concerned that it would worsen and become a tripping hazard, he searched for concrete services in the area. He came upon our website, was impressed with our job stories, and decided to contact us to schedule his FREE estimate.
In a couple of weeks, our Design Specialist, Tony B., arrived at the home to assess the driveway. Tony explained to the homeowner that one of the common reasons for sinking and cracked concrete is soil washout. As it rains and floods, the water moves through the ground underneath the concrete, and it can wash away the supporting soil holding up the slab. For this reason, Tony recommended our PolyLevel, to lift the concrete so that the driveway would be even. The homeowner happily agreed with his plans, and Tony's design was sent to our Foreman, Charlie C.
In about two weeks, Charlie and his crew arrived at the home for the installation. They began by drilling small holes into the slab and injection ports and installed them. Then, PolyLevel is injected underneath the slab and expands in the space between the slab and the soil. Once the concrete has been lifted, the crew ensures that it is fully leveled before sealing the holes with concrete. Once the crew was done, they cleaned up their equipment and left the home.
