A homeowner in Wanamingo, MN, had grown concerned over their concrete as it had begun sinking, causing cracks to form. In less than a week, our Design Specialist, Romeo V., arrived at the home to conduct a thorough inspection of the concrete around the home. During the inspection, Romeo was able to see how far the slabs had sunken and created a proposal tailored to their issue. In that proposal, Romeo recommended lifting the concrete slabs using PolyLevel, our foam-expanding solution that is specifically designed to lift sunken slabs, and repairing the cracks and sealing the joints using NexusPro, our silicone-based sealant. The homeowner happily agreed to the recommendations and decided to schedule the installation date with our Foreman.

In about a month, our Foreman, Ryan T., and his crew arrived at the home for the installation. After everything had been successfully installed, the crew cleaned up their equipment and left the home.

Our design specialist suggested PolyLevel foam injection to raise the concrete. PolyLevel is inserted through a small hole to fill under the sinking area. Polymer materials fill the space and slowly expand to raise the concrete back to its original state.

The homeowner knew that if she let the problem worsen, she may have no choice but to fully replace and re-pour the concrete. PolyLevel is a polyurethane foam that expands when it is injected beneath concrete, filling voids left by soil erosion and slowly lifting the concrete back to its desired spot. Mitch went on to say that we finished all of our concrete lifting projects with NexusPro. A silicone-base sealant, NexusPro gets applied to all joints and cracks in the concrete to prevent any unwanted elements from penetrating the slab and protecting it from further sinking. The homeowner needed some time to think about the right choice for her family. A few weeks later, she called back and got her project with us scheduled. 

On the day of the installation, our Foreman, Jordan S, and his team made quick work of the installation, carefully monitoring the lifting process to ensure the slab returned to its original resting spot. Once the job was done, our customer was thrilled to know she no longer needed to worry about a cracked walkway!
