Rhonda from Mayville, MN got in contact with us when she began to notice that her basement was becoming humid. Along with the feeling of dampness in the space, she noticed a musty smell and mold beginning to form. She wanted to know what could be done, so she called our office and we set her up with our FREE estimate. Once the appointment was set, our Design Specialist, Ian, headed out to the property to see what could be done. Once he finished his walkthrough, he was able to recommend our AprilAire dehumidifier to address the moisture. He explained that this energy-efficient option creates healthy air and can reduce the number of viable viruses in the air to less than 1% in two days' time when set to 50% RH. Rhonda agreed and work began shortly after. 

Our Foreman, Justice, installed the dehumidifier with no issues. Once the job was complete, Rhonda was happy to know that she no longer had to worry about the humidity in her space! 

A homeowner in Larimore, ND, noticed the water was leaking near the stairs and where the walls meet. Unsure of the cause, the homeowner knew they needed professional assistance. After Kole took a closer look, he noticed the water was coming from the corner of the basement. Kole told the homeowner where the water was coming from and suggested the corner be fully waterproofed. After some deliberation, the homeowner agreed with Kole's suggestion, and production preparations began. The plans were sent to the office and then to our Foreman, Franklin, and his crew. Franklin and his crew drove to the home to begin the waterproofing project. Once they arrived, they started by digging and placing the WaterGuard, our below-floor drain system. Once the WaterGuard was secured into place, the crew installed CleanSpace on the basement walls. Next, the crew dug and installed the new SuperSump+. The crew completed the installation and then cleaned up their materials. The homeowner was relieved to know their basement was properly waterproofed. Once the estimate was set, the homeowner prepared for the arrival of our Design Specialist, James. A few days later, James promptly arrived at the home and began the thorough radon test. After the test was completed, the levels were alarmingly high. James recommended installing a Radon Mitigation System in the home, and the homeowner agreed. Next, James and the homeowner worked together to find the best installation date. When the installation date arrived, our Radon Sales & Service Technician, Jackson, traveled to the home to begin. First, Jackson began by securing the Radon Mitigation System along the west wall. After the Radon Mitigation System was secured, the crew cleaned up their matierals and left the home. The homeowner was given peace of mind knowing the radon levels in their home were lowered. 

A customer from Fairmont, MN got in contact with us when he noticed some suspicious cracks beginning to form on his wall. He was afraid that if he left the issue unresolved it could continue to worsen, severely compromising the structural integrity of the home. When he called in, we set him up with our FREE estimate. Our Design Specialist, Ryan, headed out to the property to assess the situation. Upon arrival, Ryan completed a thorough 3-hour inspection into the issue. When he completed his walkthrough, Ryan made his recommendation as to how we could best help the customer. He recommended the installation of our PowerBrace wall repair system. Ryan explained that these steel-I beams will stabilize the wall in its current position without any further adjustments. This system has the option to be tightened over time to make bowing or tilting walls straighter and more vertical. The homeowner quickly agreed and work began shortly after. 

Our Foreman, Luis, and his crew ended up installing 6 PowerBrace along the cracked wall in the basement. Once completed, our customer was relieved that he could rest easy knowing the structural integrity of the home is no longer a concern. 

A homeowner in Fairmont, MN, was distressed when they discovered water in their basement. Frantic to stop further water from entering, the homeowner looked up the closest waterproofing company in the area. First, the crew started by installing the WaterGuard around the perimeter of the basement. After the WaterGuard was properly placed, the crew dug a line across the basement to insert the feedline. Then, the crew removed the old sump pump and replaced it with the SuperSump+. On the outside of the home, an IceGuard was attached to the outside discharge line. Finally, the crew installed CleanSpace on all the basement walls. The crew cleaned up any excess water and materials. The homeowners were beyond thankful to know their basement was fully waterproofed. American Waterworks is happy to make another homeowner's basement dry again.
