A homeowner in Cottage Grove, MN, saw their sidewalk was starting to show its age. Several sections of the sidewalk and the concrete stairs began separating and falling apart. After seeing we offer FREE estimates and the services they need, the homeowner decided to call our Appointment Center and sign up for their estimate. After the details were finalized, we sent out one of our Design Specialists to inspect the sidewalk. After their detailed inspection, the Design Specialist determined that the concrete was sinking. The Design Specialist recommended that the sidewalk be lifted and leveled and that several cracks be filled. The homeowners agreed and production preparations began. Our Foreman, Sam, and his crew arrived at the home to begin the lifting and leveling process. First, the crew installed the PolyLevel, a polyurethane foam injection solution, underneath the affected concrete. Once the PolyLevel was properly inserted, the crew focused on filling the cracks and joints. To fill these several cracks and joints, the crew utilized the NexusPro Solution, a silicone-based solution. After all the cracks and joints were filled, the crew completed the job and left the home. The homeowners were appreciative of the job well done by the crew. American Waterworks is happy to help another customer.

In Spring Valley, MN, a homeowner had an uneven driveway as well as large cracks that had formed. She was worried that would be a tripping hazard and did not want to keep pushing the project any longer. She decided to search for concrete services in the area and came upon our website. She was impressed with our 5-star reviews and contacted us to schedule her FREE estimate.
Our Design Specialist, Ross J., arrived at the home in a couple of weeks to assess the driveway. He explained to the homeowner that it is common to see cracks and an uneven driveway due to soil washout. When it rains or floods, the water moves through the ground under the concrete slab, causing the supporting soils to wash away. As this continues, it creates voids and spaces under the slab, eventually causing the concrete to sink. It was due to this reason that Ross recommended our PolyLevel to lift the concrete and NexusPro to seal the cracks and joints. The homeowner happily agreed to his suggestion and decided to move forward with the project. Ross's design was then sent to our Foreman, Dylon V.
In about a month, Dylon and his crew arrived at the home for the installation. They first began with lifting the concrete by drilling small holes into the slabs. Then, injection ports are installed, and the PolyLevel is injected through the hole. The PolyLevel expands beneath the concrete, lifting it. Once this is done, the small holes are concealed with concrete, and the crew moves on to sealing the cracks and joints with NexusPro. Once they were done, they cleaned up their equipment and left the home.
