Our Design Specialist, Ian S., arrived on the scheduled date and immediately inspected the home to figure out where to install the radon mitigation system. As uranium decays, it releases radon gas. By placing the system on the footing of the home, it tackles the radon gas before it can enter your home. In a couple of weeks, our Radon Sales & Service Technician, Jackson P., arrived at the home for the installation. Our radon mitigation system is a large-diameter plastic pipe that is installed at the footing and connects to the outside of the home. An in-line fan will suction out the radon gas beneath your foundation and vent it outdoors. After Jackson's installation was complete, he cleaned up his equipment and left the home.

When the installation date arrived, Jackson returned to the home to begin the installation. First, Jackson started by installing the Radon Mitigation System on the south side of the home. Once the Radon Mitigation System was secured, Jackson cleaned up his materials and left the home. The homeowner was in awe of the excellent work completed by Jackson. A homeowner in Atwater, MN saw a commercial on television discussing the dangers of high radon levels. Concerned about the levels, the homeowner wanted to have their home tested. After hearing we completed radon testing, the homeowner decided to sign up for their FREE estimate. Once their estimate was finalized, the homeowner prepared for the arrival of Kevin, one of our Design Specialists. Kevin arrived at the home and began the radon testing. Following the test, the results were 8pCi/l, alarmingly high. After sharing these results with the homeowner, Kevin recommended that a radon mitigation system be installed on the home. The homeowner immediately agreed and the plans were sent to the assigned crew. Our Foreman, Dakota, and his crew traveled to the home to install the radon mitigation system on the home. After reviewing Kevin's plans, the crew placed the radon mitigation system on the side on the west side of the home. Once the radon system was successfully installed on the side of the home, the crew cleaned up their materials and left. The homeowner was relieved to know their high radon risk was eliminated and their levels were normal. American Waterworks is happy to eliminate radon risks in our customers' homes. 

A male homeowner had water leaking into his basement and he wanted to get it repaired so he could live in a useable space. He knew of our Design Specialist, Richie, so he discussed his issues with him. Richie shared with him that we provide FREE Estimates, so the homeowner scheduled the inspection for Richie to come out to his home. He carefully inspected the homeowner's problems and proposed the solution of our WaterGuard Drainage System. Our WaterGuard is made to collect water leakage from basement walls, serve as an underground drain, and prevent water and mud clogs. The homeowner got all of their questions answered, so they followed through with the project and scheduled a date for the installation. 

Our Foreman and his production team broke out the entire concrete perimeter with a jackhammer, forming a trench. In the trench, our team installed 136 feet of WaterGuard Drainage System. The installation took one and a half days, and the homeowner couldn't believe the transformation and how many buckets of concrete our crew had to haul!

A customer from Audubon, MN got in contact with us when he began to notice water entering his crawl space, creating musty odors and rotting wood. He was afraid that if left the condition untouched, it might compromise the structural integrity of the space. When he called our Appointment Center, we set him up with our FREE estimate, entitling him to a thorough inspection of the issue. Once the appointment was scheduled, our Design Specialist, Kole, headed out to the property to do a walkthrough. Once completed, Kole was able to make recommendations about how to fix the issue. He recommended the use of our CleanSpace vapor barrier. He explained that, along with our Drainage Matting, these two would work together to trap and drain the unwanted water from the space to the appropriate disposal site. The customer agreed and work began shortly after. 

Our Production crew, led by our Foreman, Arturo, ended up wrapping the crawl space in 463 sqft of CleanSpace, and installing 346 sqft of our drainage matting. They ended the job by sealing up any remaining cracks and holes with our spray foam, a hardening foam that works to block water intrusion. Once the job was done, our customer was happy to know that unwanted water intrusion was a worry of the past!
