A homeowner from Baldwin, WI reached out to DBS looking for help with their damp basement. One of our Design Specialists went to the home to run a free no-obligation estimate appointment. After a thorough inspection, our Design Specialist provided the homeowner with a free quote for our Basement Waterproofing Service. One of our crews led by a Foreman installed our WaterGuard® french drain system and a new sump pump in the basement to thoroughly waterproof the space. They also installed our CleanSpace® water vapor barrier, providing the homeowner with peace of mind.

This 1930's home in Stone Lake, WI had issues with shifting blocks in the foundation wall. Over the past 10 years, the homeowner noticed the problem worsening. Wanting to protect the investment in their home, they contacted us for a free, no-obligation estimate for the foundation work. 

DBS Design Specialist James Miller visited the home and performed a thorough diagnosis, assessing the basement wall cracking. His action plan for the block walls in the basement was to install our PowerBrace™ Wall Bracing System.

DBS Foreman Joe Harris installed 6 PowerBrace™ I-beams. Our team anchored the beams to the basement concrete, as well as to the rim joists in the ceiling. These beams will be tightened overtime to restore the wall's original position.

The homeowners were happy with the work done and can now count on a safe and supported basement.

A homeowner in Hayward, WI was experiencing issues with leaking water in the newly finished basement of their cabin, and reached out to DBS for some assistance. After thorough inspections, it was determined that the finished walls would need to have the EverLast™ Finished Wall Restoration panels installed for a more updated waterproofing system. This product is ideal for repairing water damaged drywall, and also adds better insulation for a more warm and comfortable area. Design Specialist James Miller assisted these homeowners in a free, no-obligation estimate to find the best solution for their home. After a thorough inspection, James provided a quote and recommended the installation of SmartJack® beams and drainage matting. 

Foreman Chris Church led the installation of the encapsulation project. Chris and his team fully encapsulated the crawl space, starting with drainage matting. This helps the soil and dirt under the home to safely and effectively help drain the water in the space. Next, they used SprayFoam insulation to air seal the space and create a moisture barrier. They then used CleanSpace® to line the entirety of the crawl space for a clean, water resistant barrier, which also allows the space to be used for safe, dry storage. 

These homeowners can now enjoy their new home know their crawl space is safe and dry.
