Specialist Nolan M. determined that a WaterGuard waterproofing system needed to be installed to keep the water out. Woods installed WaterGuard as part of the waterproofing system. As seen in the pictures, WaterGuard is installed under the concrete floors along the perimeter of the basement. It is a drainage system the collects water from the foundation walls and floors and drains it away to the sump pump for removal.

As part of the waterproofing system installed, Woods replaced the old sump pump with the TripleSafe. Unlike the old sump pump lid that had a hole in it, as shown in the picture, the TripleSafe has an airtight lid that won’t allow water in the pit to evaporate and raise the humidity in the basement. It contains three powerful pumps, including a batter back up pump, to ensure water is always being pumped out of the basement, even in the worst weather conditions or power outages.
