Missouri has experienced a new weather pattern - unprecedented wetness in the year 2008 and 2009 and an unusual feature of this weather pattern was persistent above-normal rainfall from month to month.
Missouri farmers might be very happy to see that their farm crops responded with two years of record-setting yields, Missouri's home owners, however, may not always welcome this kind of precipitation, because it may wreak havoc on basements or crawl spaces in the area. Your basement is likely the largest single space in your home. If you allow it to be wet, moldy, humid, smelly, and unhealthy, you're abandoning an entire floor of space in your home. Additionally, a home with water in basement is nearly impossible to sell, and the basement air - filled with odors, dust mite feces, humidity, and mold spores - will rise into the rest of the house, ruining the healthy environment of the home. Don't let this happen! Waterproof your basement today! Your local authorized Missouri basement waterproofing and crawl space repair specialist can show you how to achieve a dry environment in your home with a FREE basement or crawl space estimate and inspection.

Comment: Basement wet in one place after heavy rains
Project Location: Golden Spring Ct, Cedar Hill, MO 63016
Comment: Basement leaks where the wall meets the floor during heavy rains. You can actually watch it come in during heavy rains. It comes in at one spot, the heavier the rain the more it spreads to different areas in the basement. We had the home built and were told we didn't need a sump pump by the builder because of the way the land lays, dumb mistake on our part, but for several years it's been leaking and we've been fighting it and I can't keep this up. Our basement has flooded so many times that I lost count. We will need a sump pump basin dug and pump installed with piping. Have a couple foundation leaks as well, but pump is first and needed immediately. Best way to reach out is probably email. Get pretty busy and can't get away to answer calls sometimes.
